It’s been reported Victoria Beckham could still stand to make bank big time should the Spice Girls reunion go ahead.
Not that we have our fingers and toes weirdly and uncomfortably crossed about the whole thing.
Anyway, Sunday Mirror has reported that even though it’s been claimed Posh has pulled out of any potential reunion – as we continue to play a game of ‘are they or aren’t they?’ – she could still stand to earn £3 million from any efforts of the group, through copyrights, endorsements and promotional plans.
A source told the publication: ‘Victoria doesn’t want to tour as her fashion business is going from strength to strength. But she will make a lot of money even if she doesn’t take part in the reunion.
‘It’s ruffled feathers as she is still set to benefit hugely without having to do much. At the moment she wants minimal involvement.
‘Victoria is adamant she is committed to her business, so Simon is seeing how he can get her on board without her committing to a major world tour.’
Reps for the group are yet to confirm or deny any such tour, which has kept us all the more intrigued as various members spill the tea on what they’re working – or not working – on.
Mel C revealed Victoria wasn’t so keen on the idea, telling The Sun: ‘Victoria has been quite vocal, it’s really not something she wants to do at this time.
‘I think it has to be all five, so it’s tricky.’
While Mel B seemed to get into hot water recently after she said the five-piece has been invited to the Royal Wedding, while she didn’t deny they would perform at the reception when asked.
However, Mel C poured cold water on those words as she said the other Mel was kidding when she set tongues wagging by not wagging hers.

‘I’ve met Prince Charles lots of times. I’m going to ask him where my invite is because I haven’t got mine yet, obviously Mel B said she has hers,’ she told The Sun. ‘I think Mel was just kind of having a bit of a joke. There are no plans to go to the wedding at the moment.’
Guess this is just another instalment of ‘What the hecking heck are the Spice Girls up to?’
Tune in next time for more exciting developments.
