Zoe Ball has been pictured for the first time with her new boyfriend, building firm boss Michael Reed.

The pair are thought to have met just before Christmas after her long-term boyfriend Billy Yates passed away last year; the radio host was photographed leaving Soho House with Michael, 47, in December, before they later made their way to Union private members club.

On Sunday 4 February they were seen in Brighton, enjoying lunch and a spot of shopping before Michael drove them both off in Zoe’s black BMW.

Earlier in 2018 Michael treated Zoe to a romantic getaway, with a weekend away in Suffolk in a retreat that’s said to cost £400 per night.

A source close to Zoe admitted that things are ‘moving pretty fast’ between the two, but that’s she’s ‘head over heels’ for the Kent father-of-three.

‘He is love-bombing her and really pulling out all the stops to impress her,’ a source told The Sun

‘And, although he has a bit of a reputation, her friends are pleased because the relationship has pulled her out of a bit of a hole she was in.

‘She is the happiest she has been in a long which is great – she is back in a good place.’

Zoe’s former boyfriend Billy was found dead at home in May 2017.

Since his death, Zoe, The Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two host, has honoured Billy on World Mental Health Day.

In a post on Instagram she wrote: ‘So many emotions today #worldmentalhealthday there was so little help and support offered to my @billwahweewoo – only after he died did I learn about some of the amazing charities and support groups out there doing such great work for #mentalhealth #depression #suicideawareness.’

Zoe has also presented TV wearing a letter B necklace which is believed to be an ode to Billy.
