When will Star Wars: The Last Jedi be out on DVD and Blu Ray?

It’s safe to say that Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been a huge success, with the film receiving positive reviews and making over $1 Billion worldwide at the box office.

Most die-hard fans have likely seen it multiple times since it came out in the cinema in mid-December, but many of us will now be eagerly anticipating the DVD and Blu Ray release of the film.

As well as having the freedom to watch it any time you want from the comfort of your sofa, the DVD copy is likely to include plenty of bonus features for Star Wars fans to enjoy.

The DVD and Blu Ray of Star Wars: The Force Awakens included plenty of great extras including a behind-the-scenes documentary, deleted scenes, footage from the table reading, an inside look at the visual effects, plus plenty more.

So when can we expect The Last Jedi to make it into our homes and join our ever-growing collection?

When will Star Wars: The Last Jedi be out on DVD?

An official release date has not yet been announced by Disney, but we can get a good idea based on the timings of previous Star Wars DVD releases.

Both Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One came out in cinemas at the same period in December as The Last Jedi, and both of those films then made it to DVD and Blu Ray at the start of April.

The Force Awakens was made available to download from April 1st 2016 and then had its DVD and Blu Ray release on April 5th 2017, whilst Rogue One had a digital release on March 24th and then the DVD and Blu Ray release on April 4th.

Based on these dates, we can expect The Last Jedi to be available worldwide on DVD andBlu Ray sometime at the start of April 2018.
