Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) is due to mark the anniversary of her daughter Hollys (Sophie Powles) death in what are sure to be some tear-jerking scenes in Emmerdale.

In recent scenes, Moira spotted her son Matty (Ash Palmisciano) smoking a joint.

This had a very strong impact on her, as it reminded her of the way Holly died.

So what exactly happened to Holly, and what does that have to do with Emma Bartons (Gillian Kearney) murder?

Why did Moira kill Emma in Emmerdale?

Moira offed the suicidal Emma after she goading Moira with a view to getting the firey farmers wife to kill her.

Eventually, Emmas cruel words about Moiras daughter Hollys death did the trick, and Moira momentarily snapped.

That was all it took for Moira to push Emma off a bridge.

Holly herself died of a drug overdose after a long struggle with addiction.
