Zayn Malik has gone and done what his fans have been waiting for – announced a new album is on its way.
Having dropped his first full-length back in 2015, Mind Of Mine, the 25-year-old singer has kept up a steady drip of singles and tracks to keep fans on their toes – including collabs with Sia and Party Next Door.
However, theres been scant hint of when a follow up will come… till now.
Announcing the news on Twitter, Zayn told his fans: Album is on the way, Got a few surprises for you too .. heres a taster.
And with that left a track for fans to listen to.
Theres no further information about the album, but the message on social media makes it clear that we can expect something to drop this year.

Obviously having been working hard in the studio on new material, Zayn has managed to keep news of his second full-length solo project under-the-radar.
In fact, hes mostly hit the headlines the past year for his ever-evolving look and his ups and downs with girlfriend GiGi Hadid.

His last two singles, both released this year, havent faired so well in the charts. Let Me reached 20 in the UK and 73 in the US, while Entertainer only charted at 95 in the UK.
Mind Of Mine on the other hand went to number one in seven countries worldwide.
Lets hope his next LP follows in MOMs footsteps.
