There are huge decisions being made in soapland as Kate Connor and Rana Nazir get engaged to be married in Coronation Street while Courtney Campbell drops someone in it over Glenn Donovans death in Hollyoaks.

Over in Emmerdale, Laurel Thomas calls an end to her relationship with Bob Hope while EastEnders struggling new mum Hayley Slater abandons her newborn daughter as she fears she wont be able to cope with bringing her up.
