A traffic collision Wednesday afternoon in Sun Valley resulted in two people being taken to the hospital, authorities said.

The collision involved two trucks, at least one of which spilled diesel fuel on the road, said a photographer at the scene.

The crash was reported at 12:32 p.m. on the 8400 block of San Fernando Road, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

A 9-1-1 call reported the collision to authorities, and two victims were later transported to the hospital, Humphrey said.

There was no information about age, gender, affiliation or the circumstances, Humphrey said.

L.A. Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division was also at the crash scene, Humphrey said.
