Cillian Murphy May Fill the Handsomeness Quotient of A Quiet Place 2

Cillian Murphys piercing blue eyes may not be as reassuring as they seem in a post-apocalypse plagued by sound-hunting monsters, but Emily Blunt could certainly do worse as a rebound from on-and-offscreen husband John Krasinski.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the hotly-anticipated Quiet Place sequel has made its first notable addition, holding talks with Cillian Murphy to play a mysterious role opposite returning stars Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe. Thats not Vanity Fair playing coy, mind you; the description literally reads that Cillian would play “a man with mysterious intentions who joins the family unit.”

Krasinski is at least back in the directors chair and writing the script, though his initial Quiet Place character—spoiler alert—sacrificed himself in the films climax to distract the sound-hunting alien monsters from attacking his children.
