Its all going rather swimmingly for Cardi B at the moment: a debut album thats performing well, a baby on the way and an ever-growing legion of fans under her command.
But Cardis rapid rise to the top hasnt quite got everyones attention – how about the fathers of the world, for one.
Dads, God bless em, arent always able to keep up with their kids favourite artists – but, to their eternal credit, they do give it a good go.
Case in point: Twitter user Josh Sobos father, who – presumably upon noticing a load of hubbub surrounding Cardi on a New York City street – did what all curious, phone-wielding people do when they see a celebrity and asked the star at the centre of the kerfuffle for a quick snap.

Selfie with Cardi achieved, Joshs dad then sent it to his son – while also asking, in classic Dad texting style, who she was.
An actual text I received from my dad today, Josh wrote on Twitter after his dad texted him the selfie with the caption whose is Cardi B.
Unsurprisingly, the screenshot has subsequently earned viral immortality, with Twitter users commenting on how adorable it was and sharing their own experiences of their Dads finding out who Cardi B is for the first time:
