EastEnders has dropped its autumn trailer and there is a lot to dissect in the three minute video with Sharon Mitchells (Letitia Dean) feud with Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) ending in disaster, Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) and Martin Fowler (James Bye) ending up up to their necks in crime and the debut of the Panesar family.

As the autumn storylines explode, Mels exit is just around the corner – and she promises Mel that all of this will soon be over. And by promising on her life, is she sealing her own tragic fate? The trailer shows Phil (Steve McFadden) and Louisa (Tilly Keeper) oblivious while Sharon and Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) fear the worst.

Aside from this almighty clash, Bens relationship with Callum Highway (Tony Clay) continues to develop – forcing Callum to finally stand up to his homophobic father. And Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) is moving on too – into possibly her most disastrous relationship yet.

Ahead of their upcoming wedding, Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) and Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) are on Cloud Nine after spending the night together but other couples are heading for trouble as Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) is forced to face the truth about Adam Bateman (Stephen Rahman-Hughes) while Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) faces more tension from her violent husband Gray (Toby Alexander Smith).
