EastEnders delivered a shock for one resident as Hunter Owen (Charlie Winter) resurfaced in Albert Square ready to get revenge on Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) for getting him put in prison for murder.

Hunter broke free from mum Mel Owens (Tamzin Outhwaite) car boot and went in search for her gun, which he previously had his eye on.

After breaking into Jacks home, he caught Denise (Diane Parish) unawares and attacked her, leaving her lying motionless on the floor.

With at least one character set to bite the dust as a result of Hunters desperate actions, is Denises time up?

When he spotted Jack and Denises invite to Whitney (Shona McGarty) and Callums (Tony Clay) wedding, he made his way over to the Queen Vic.

He was last seen hiding out in the cellar, loading a bullet into the gun he took from his mum.

Jack was completely unaware of whats coming as he celebrated his family being reunited in the pub.

Hunters thirst for revenge on Jack stems from the fact it was Jack who called the police on him for shooting Ray Kelly.

The troubled teenager was sent to prison despite the fact he killed Ray to save Mels life, as he was choking the life out of her at the time.

But managed to escape, and seriously injure his leg in the process, and make his way back to Mel, vowing he will never return to prison.

Mel cooked up a plan to get him out of Walford and out of the country, but Hunter has taken matters into his own hands.

Is Jack in danger from Hunter? And which Albert Square resident will meet their maker at his hands?
