Despite being warned to stay away by the bride-to-be, it seems Ben (Max Bowden) just cant take no for an answer and turns up suited and booted at Callum (Tony Clay) and Whitneys (Shona McGarty) wedding on EastEnders this week.

Naturally, when Whitney spots him, shes less than happy with her uninvited guest, and demands he gets the hell away from her and her wedding.

Dressed to the nines in a baby pink wedding dress, Whitney has no intention of having anything spoil her big day – especially not the man her soon-to-be husband cheated on her with.

What is Ben even there for? Is he there to give an olive branch to the couple he nearly ruined, or is he about to out Callum to the entire congregation (so pretty much, the entire Square).

To throw a bit more fuel onto the fire, theres the arrival of Whitneys mum Bianca (Patsy Palmer), who is blissfully oblivious to everything going on.

But shes always one to be near the drama, so seeing her daughter getting in a tiff with someone on her wedding day is clearly going to catch her interest.

Is she about to find out the truth about everything and leave it out in the open?

This is the EastEnders wedding of the year after all, and you cant have one of those without a knees up and a hell of a lot of drama.

Torturing himself over his sexuality secret and his infidelity, Callum finally told Whitney the truth on Thursday nights episode, and now the bride has a decision to make.

Hurt and betrayed, she decided to continue with the wedding to give herself and Callum a shot at happiness, but after one betrayal already, can they really go through with it?

With fans backing Ballum as a potential solid couple, showrunner Kate Oates told us why he thinks they would even work.

She told us: Id always thought they might be an interesting couple. In the story office, wed always thought that we wanted a new relationship for Ben, and when we knew we were bringing a different Ben back — we wanted someone really comfortable with his sexuality and a relationship that would challenge him and being with somebody completely different to him would do that, so that was kind of the genesis of it.
