Elvis Presley is set to sing a re-imagined duet with his daughter Lisa Marie Presley, in a new release of gospel songs by the late star.

Elvis fans might be divided in this, but theres no denying its a sweet story.

The new album, Where No One Stands Alone, is being released to celebrate Presleys love of gospel music, and is said to feature 14 original performances recorded by him before his 1977 sudden death.

Its said the songs will have new instrumentation teamed with the backing vocals from those who worked with Elvis, such as Darlene Love, Cissy Houston, The Imperials and The Stamps.

The title track is a reimagined duet, in which his only child, Lisa Marie, sings with her father.

Obviously incredibly emotional for Lisa Marie, she said of the duet: It was a very powerful and moving experience to sing with my father.

The lyrics speak to me and touch my soul. Im certain that the lyrics spoke to my father in much the same way.

The tracklisting for the album, that will be released 10 August will also reportedly include the gospel classics Amazing Grace, Youll Never Walk Alone, He Touched Me and Crying In The Chapel.
