Chas Dingle is set to make another life changing decision in Emmerdale that will leave Paddy Kirk heartbroken as the enormity of her grief around the tragic diagnosis of her baby pushes her to call the wedding off. Will the couples ongoing trauma tear them apart once and for all?
As Chas has another meeting with the consultant to discuss her fears surrounding the pregnancy, she is thrown when the topic of donating her unborn babys organs is raised and she is hurt to learn that Paddy has already looked into this and has been considering it.
As she tries to stay strong, she later breaks down in front of a shocked Cain and admits to him what is going on – that her baby wont survive outside of the womb. As Cain tries to process the news, Chas tells him that she feels Paddy went behind her back regarding organ donation and Cain tries to see if from his side.

However, as he explains how Paddy was probably doing what he thinks was right, he soon realises that Chas is still holding onto the hope of a miracle that her baby will survive and he is concerned for her state of mind.
Chas then delivers another bombshell – fighting back the tears, she confides in Cain that she cant go through with marrying Paddy. But will she tell her fiancé that the wedding is off and how will an already struggling Paddy take the news that he is going to lose his future wife as well as his child?
