Emmerdale is set to air yet more painful scenes for long suffering Chas Dingle and Paddy Kirk tonight as she calls off the wedding in the wake of her discovery that he has been considering organ donation for their baby without her.
The broken couple are currently trying to deal with the heartache of being told that their child will not survive outside of the womb after being born but Chas is understandably struggling to get her head around this and remains in denial that a miracle is possible.

So when she discovers that Paddy hasnt closed the door on organ donation, she feels betrayed and opens up to her brother Cain about how hurt she is. Cain is dismayed to learn what Chas has been secretly enduring and offers solace – but tries to see things from Paddys side and play Devils Advocate.

However, it soon becomes clear to him that Chas is still holding out for a miracle and he is worried about her. When Chas then decides that she cant marry Paddy, she calls off the wedding which was scheduled for this week.
But is this the end of the road for the couple? Or can they sort out the damage and unite to deal with their imminent tragedy together?
