Hip hop fans have been left disappointed after Lil Uzi Vert pulled out of a string of European concert dates, including Wireless Festival.

The rapper will no longer be performing at Wireless this weekend and has also cancelled his appearances at Polands Opener, Hollands Woo Hah Festival and Longitude in Ireland.

Wireless confirmed that a replacement will be announced to take his place, adding that Headie One will also no longer be performing and will be replaced by Jay1.

The festivals Facebook page explained: Unfortunately Lil Uzi Vert and Headie One are no longer able to perform at #WirelessFest. Jay1 will replace Headie One and we will have a very special guest for Lil Uzi Verts slot.

The reason for the cancellation has yet to be revealed, but it isnt the first time Lil Uzi Vert has had to pull out of a show at the last minute.

He was sued in February for cancelling a show in Arizona, with promoters trying to recoup losses of approximately $600,000 (£477,000) that they incurred as a result of his no-show.

At present, hes still stated to appear at Reading & Leeds festival, Les Ardentes in Belgium, Sonar in Barcelona and the Netherlands Lowlands Festival despite reports he had cancelled the rest of his European dates this summer.

Lil Uzi Vert has yet to comment on the cancellations, but released a new music video for Sanguine Paradise last night.

The music video is inspired by the movie Blade and sees the rapper wandering around New York after midnight, ending up in a nightclub infested by vampires.
