Liverpool will be hoping to continue their winning ways as they host Leicester City in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp‘s men have been fantastic going forward this season and have scored 12 goals in three Premier League matches. In their last match, they dismantled a struggling Swansea side by five goals, aided by a brilliant performance by Philippe Coutinho.

Crucially, they have not have not lost in all competitions since they were beaten by Tottenham at Wembley in October, however the race for the top four is extremely close this season so a win is imperative for the Reds.

There was more good news for the Anfield faithful after the club announced the arrival of Virgil van Dijk from Southampton for £75 million, with the defender due to officially join the club on 1 January.

Sadio Mane will be hoping for game time after being an unused substitute in the 5-0 win over Swansea.

Marko Grujic (fractured finger) and Daniel Sturridge (muscle) face late fitness tests but Jordan Henderson (hamstring) and Alberto Moreno (ankle) remain sidelined.

Liverpool fans will have to wait until the new year to see Virgil van Dijk.

Leicester manager Claude Puel has no new injury or suspension concerns ahead of the Premier League game.
