Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) is facing some serious internal turmoil in Neighbours, could it push him down a very dark path?
Mark has been struggling ever since he learned the devastating truth about Elly (Jodi Anasta) sleeping with his sister, and the crushing blow of discovering the true paternity of Ellys baby. Hes been turning to drink and wild times with Roxy (Zima Anderson) to mask the pain, but its set the wheels in motion for more pain to come.
With Shaun (Brad Moller) back on the scene, Mark has not been dealing well with the confronting feelings of seeing Elly playing happy families with another man.
But he comes to a realisation that Roxy isnt filling the void, as her penchant for exhibitionism leaves him feeling uncomfortable, especially when during a date, she climbs on a table in front of everyone and loudly dares him to down a drink.

Little does she know that what she perceives as innocent fun times could be the key to instigating Marks self-destruction as he takes the challenge and downs the drink.
When Roxy comes to realise her behaviour isnt sitting well with Mark she decides to tone it down, and when they attend the wine-tasting at The 82 she shocks him by showing up in very conservative garb. Mark is left irritated by the show shes putting on and turns to drowning his sorrows in wine.
It all gets too much for him and after far too much to drink he snaps, and drunkenly and publicly berates her for trying so hard, leaving her hugely embarrassed.
