Andrea (Madeleine West) is about to come face to face with herself after Heathers (Kerry Armstrong) plan to track down Karen, AKA Real Dee, actually works in Neighbours!
Andrea is pretty chuffed with how her little plan to integrate herself into Toadies (Ryan Moloney) family is going, but her joy has her distracted and oblivious to mum Heathers own little plan.
Heather wants to find Karen, and shes stopping at nothing to make it happen. Having learned Karen is in Byron Bay, she secretly does a flit right at the time Andrea is getting super cosy with Toadie (Ryan Moloney) – even scoring herself an accidental sleepover when she falls asleep on the sofa, much to the chagrin of Susan (Jackie Woodburne).
In Byron Bay, Heather manages to track down the other guy from the photo Ian had of him along with Karen, and initially the man, Riley, is adamant hes keeping schtum.

A little pressure from the pro that is Heather and he soon caves, just as Andrea cottons on to whats going on. Shes forced to quit on her plans with Toadie to rush to Byron Bay to stop her mother doing something terrible.
She confronts Heather and tells her to get the hell out of her life, and to accept shell never be a part of her new family. Heather is crushed, but before she has too long to dwell she receives a message from Riley. Hes tracked down Karen and shes agreed to meet.
