Hes usually a man of the people, who can do no wrong in fans eyes.

But Noel Gallagher prompted boos from fans at his gig yesterday when he firmly declared that he had no belief in the England team against Sweden.

Shared his views on Englands chances in todays World Cup game with Sweden, by telling the crowd at his Scarborough gig footballs not coming home.

The former Oasis star performed at the Open Air Theatre in Yorkshire on Friday, the day ahead of the national teams quarter-final game.

As fans chanted Its coming home Noel interjected, saying: Seriously though, it fucking so isnt.

It fucking is not. It is not. You fucking know it, and I know it.

The crowd laughed and cheered at first, but could then be heard booing the English singer.

Not exactly patriotic, Noel!

Darren Ratcliffe, who posted a video of the moment, tweeted: I love NG but he is so f**wrong its beyond belief!! #ThreeLions #ItsComingHome #england #SWEENG #NoelGallagher #Oasis #themightyi.

And, as youd probably expect after word got out on social media, his Twitter-loving brother Liam couldnt help but put his own thoughts out there (in what may have been a little dig), writing: Cmon ………..ahhhhhhhhhh as you were LG.
