The untitled Deadpool movie will release on December 21.

Ryan Reynolds is shooting for an all-new Deadpool movie, but it is not Deadpool 3. Rather it is the PG-13 version (as opposed to being R-Rated as both Deadpool 2 movies have been) of Deadpool 2 and he is filming new scenes. This was revealed by the writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick in an interview with Slashfilm. They said Reynolds and director David Leitch began shooting scenes for the movie a couple of months ago.

“We definitely shot new stuff,” Wernick said. “And recently too. After Deadpool 2 came out and we were all sitting around, we came to it less about the idea of lets make a PG-13 movie and more, Lets talk a little bit about Deadpool. We were kicking around some ideas and then I think it was Ryan [Reynolds] who had the great framing device and we all got excited and went to the studio. They said, Yeah, lets do it. Fire up the cameras. About two months ago we were out on soundstages shooting again. Ryan was in the suit and the gang was back together, Dave Leitch and Ryan and us having a great time and laughing. It comes together great so were super excited about it.”

Collider reports that photography is not finished yet. Ryan Reynolds posted a photo of himself with Fred Savage, the actor who played the role of The Grandson. The picture was a parody of the scene in which The Grandpa tells the kid stories.

HOT DEALS

Deadpool 2 grossed 734 million dollars worldwide. Since this one is a PG-13 release, it would have a potentially bigger audience and the raunchy superhero will have to rein in his foul mouth and his inclination towards violence.

The untitled Deadpool movie will release on December 21.
