Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Kedarnath releases on December 7.
Kedarnath is the much-awaited debut of Sara Ali Khan, who is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. Sara stars in the film alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. The teaser of film releases on October 30.
Sushant and Sara play Mansoor and Mukku. Mansoor is a porter who lives with his widowed mother and helps pilgrims make the journey to Kedarnath. His life changes when he meets Mukku. The film is set on the 14 km of pilgrimage from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath. Kedarnath is a 2000-year-old temple of Lord Shiva.
The film is set against the 2013 Uttarakhand Floods that caused a lot of destruction in the area.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor of Rock On!! and Kai Po Che fame, Kedarnath releases on December 7.
