Rami Malek has enjoyed quite the year in Hollywood, after his turn as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody won over basically everyone who knows whats good.
Now, its been reported hes been eyed up for the role of the next Bond villain, as bosses get to work on the next instalment dubbed Bond 25.
Were shaken, not stirred, by this revelation as we just cant picture sweet Rami bashing up Bond. And you know the villain never wins and we need Rami to never lose.
According to Variety, show bosses were keen on getting the Mr Robot star on board in the forthcoming Bond 25 alongside Daniel Craig, in his last spin in the famous tux.
The website has noted insider sources who claimed he was sparking interest from the casting crew, however his schedule for the last season of his TV show made it unlikely he would get the gig.

However, we can only imagine should an actor be offered such a monumental role in a franchise such as Bond, youd make it work, right?
So lets not discount the lad just yet.
The next hit in the franchise shoots in Spring and hits cinemas 14 February 2020.
Because James Bond is everyones favourite Valentines Day flick.
The actor has already revealed the kind of work he did behind the scenes to land the role of Queen frontman Freddie in BoRap, as Rami said he told producers he couldnt sing or play piano and still landed the gig.
We sat down for a six hour meeting and hed really only seen me in Mr Robot, where I played this profoundly alienated, socially anxious human being whos a pretty far cry from Freddie Mercury, he said of a meeting with producer Graham King, in an interview with Deadline. Graham saw something in me with Dennis OSullivan, and gave me a shot.
I said, “listen, Im not a singer. I dont play the piano. I move in a very interesting way on a dancefloor – I dont know if Id call it rhythm.”

But somehow, I just said, “if I have the time, I can get there. If you help me out with the things I need”.

He gave him lessons to sing, the piano lessons, a movement coach, a dialect coach, and most intriguing for us, teeth to wear a year in advance for him to get used to.
Thats some dedication to the cause.
