France became World Cup champions after they secured a victory against Croatia during the tense finals.

Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z committed a minor faux pas by scheduling their performance on the same day as the FIFA World Cup finals.

The duo were performing at the Stade de France Stadium as part of their On the Run II tour.

No matter.

Hip hops royal couple decided that the World Cup finals was important – especially given that France was competing – and they streamed the match before their performance began.

And if that wasnt enough to bring a smile to your face, the duo preceded to perform wearing matching French defender Raphael Varanes football shirt.

So. Cute.

Jay-Z revealed that he had been wearing the jersey with two stars – representing the fact that France won the World Cup two times – underneath his jacket the whole time.

The Beyhive took this as confirmation that the King and Queen blessed the France team.

Yall know the only reason France won was because Beyoncé blessed it, right?

Ok but surely watching your county win the World Cup and immediately having Beyoncé and Jay Z come out after to put on a show for you is peak existence? How you gonna get a better day than that

The next leg of the tour will have the pair performing in the Allianz Riviera in Nice on Tuesday.
