Its a difficult day for Fletch in Holby City tonight, as once again hes facing childcare difficulties when the babysitter lets him down. His eldest daughter Evie is supposed to be holding the fort, but Fletch gets a message that youngest son Theo has been injured and is in AAU. With all of that on his plate, the last thing Fletch needs is an unwelcome face from his past turning up.

Meanwhile Henrik Hanssens feelings towards Roxanna are turning decidedly romantic – and its her birthday, too. Will he manage to overcome his reserve to tell her how he feels? And its youth v maturity on AAU, when Ric and Serena decide that Nicky and Meena need to be taught a lesson. Here are 10 spoilers to watch out for.

1 – Fletchs shift starts off badly with a spot of car trouble. That turns out to be the least of his worries on what proves to be an emotionally exhausting day.

2 – Nicky and Meena are now F2s, but their first task is to babysit a new batch of F1s on AAU, under the watchful gaze of Ric and Serena. Unfortunately Meena cant help showing off a bit.

3 – Fletch is alarmed to hear that his son Theo has been in an accident at home while he was supposed to be in the care of his big sister Evie. When he hears that Evie is missing and social services are getting involved, Fletch is worried sick.

4 – Essies friend Julie is brought back into the hospital, and Hanssen has to work with Roxanna to save her life. Its obvious that he admires and respects Roxanna as a surgeon and friend – but is there more to it than that?

5 – Irritated by Nicky and Meenas arrogant attitude, Ric and Serena decide to teach them a lesson. But who will have the last laugh, the smart juniors or the experienced seniors?

6 – Its Roxannas birthday, and Hanssen tries to pluck up the courage to give her a gift. Essie is encouraging, but will he dare to risk being more open about his feelings? And if he does, will the reaction be what hes hoping for?

7 – When Fletch finds out that his daughter has been in touch with his father, Steven, hes not a happy man. Then Steven appears at Holby. Why is there so much bad blood between him and Fletch, and can they overcome it and ever have a normal father/son relationship?

8 – Evie has a few home truths for Fletch, which make him think hard about the difficulties of being a good father.
